10-02-08 | 2nd event for rdEvolution
October 17th there will be another event for the rdEvolution show at the Olympic Mills. This was a two month show running September through October.

Please come to the last party!! It's a friday and will start at 7pm!! Hope to see you there!

08-31-08 | Canceled Show Update!!
I just found out that due to situations out of mine or anyone elses control, the September 12th show that was to be held at the Working Artists Gallery needs to be canceled.

It will however be rescheduled for November 6th 2008. I am told that this will also be a better opportunity for me to possibly sell more work and have more people walk through the show.

Sorry for the confusion! Hope to still see you this Friday at Olympic Mills!!

08-09-08 | It finally happened!
Hey everyone,

I got into my first gallery! The show will be in September and more details are to come.

07-29-08 | Checkin In
So it's super late notice, but tonight will be a small group show at Rose Spring Center for Healing Arts. This is the first art opening the new space will have and it runs from 7:30-9:30pm.

There will be several great artists displaying their work with mine. I'm super excited and hope we have a good turn out.

Also, check out the upcoming shows section, there is a great night coming up next month. Make sure you all make it to that one!!

06-30-08 | This Thursday!!
Well the show is this thursday everyone!!

I was also able to hang some more pieces at the Rose Springs Center for Healing Arts yesterday and they might have a small reception in mid July. I'll keep you posted!

So July will host my next solo show. It's a First Thursday event at Blondie! a Salon. There is going to be beer, pizza and live music performed by one of my closest friends from Reno, Gia Torcaso. I am so excited to have her play!!

04-26-08 | Donation
Well today was a good day!! For those of you who knew or even those of you who didn't, my art show in March was to have 10% of any sales donated to the charity of my choice. The charity I chose was Dove Lewis Animal Hospital, for of course my dear Luda.

Today I went down to the hospital and was able to donate $370 to what they do for animals and their families everyday. I was so happy to be able to do this. Thank you to Kelly, Rebecca, Juanita, Craig, Jen, Pauline, Jason and Brooke for making this possible.

Today was a great day!!

03-09-08 | My first art opening came and went
Thank you so much to all of you who came!! I think my first opening was a not only a huge success but it was an amazing time and experience. I am so glad you all came!

Well, it's coming soon!! Only a month away.

My first ever solo show is Friday March 7th @ the east bank commerce center. Today I finally took the time to decide which pieces will be in the show and I think it's going to be good!!

01-09-08 | Album Cover
Very exciting news everyone!! A kick ass band in Reno, NV is using one of my paintings for the album cover of their new record. They are Dirty Pretty. The CD is expected to come out in March I believe. I am so excited about this I can't even tell you.

They are a really great sound. Please check them out!! I've set up a link to their myspace so you can have a listen. I'll let you all know when it's finished so you can all buy it!!

01-04-08 | Great Opportunity
I had an unexpected show fall into my lap last night. The owner of a restaruant in NW Portland asked me to hang in his space for a few months. I will be hanging starting tomorrow, january 5th through end of February.

The restaraunt is Cha on NW 21st and Everette. Go check it out, it's a beautiful place. They have a great bar, food and brunch on the weekends.

12-19-07 | 3rd Annual Love Show
Well I got into another show for February. I will be haning one piece amongst 100 artists. This is going to be a fantastic event. If you are simply a lover of art or are looking to meet other artists, this would be a great show to attend. I hope to see you there!!

11-26-07 | Good things are happening
Well my last show at the Olympic Mills Commerce Center went really well. Thanks to all of you for coming and/or giving me support in your abscence. The show will continue to hang through the month of December.

I am starting to get some new shows lined up and so far they are solo shows, which is pretty exciting. Please check out the Up Coming Shows section of this website to see when they are.

Painting continues to be good to me so I will hopefully have lots of new stuff for you all to see.

10-16-07 | Finally
Well I have good news and I am so excited about it. I still have lots of details to find out but I will be a part of a group show for First Friday on November 2nd. The event is part of a grand opening of a building in SE Portland and I will get to hang 5 pieces.

I will let you all know more details as I get them in the next few days.

I can't wait and I hope to see you all there.

08-05-07 | On Pause
Okay, obviously still working on the "show" section of the site. I am in need of someone with a good camera. Anyone got one??

I have finally moved and gotten settled in I think. My first weekend at the new place I painted my largest piece yet. It's already posted in the "New Paintings" section and it's called Holding Her. So check it out and look for more new ones. I've got the itch and who knows how many will come......

07-13-07 | New Space
Well I found a new place to hang my work. On Saturday July 14th my work will be hanging at Cha Cha Cha on NE 47th and Freemont. Another one of my favorite places and it's got some really great gallery space. It's a good spot to go on a Friday or Saturday night because it is attatched to a coffee shop that has live music on the weekends. And they make the best margarita's.

I'm only hanging about 9 pieces but it will be the debut for a very special piece. Most of you know I lost my Luda last year and painted a picture for her. Well that piece has been hanging very close to me and has never made it to the public. So this show will be her first.

Please go check it out, have a great drink and order delicious food.

Also, I have added a new spot to the site called "Shows". I want to start taking pictures of my work hanging at places so all of you that live so far away can see what they look like hanging up. I'll add some pictures to it on July 14th. Look for that update!!

Hi guys!!

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for coming and giving your support during my first real event in the art world. It was a great success in my eyes and think all of yours as well. I have to say thank you so much to debbie. There are so many things she did to help me prepare for this thing in a short amount of time. I couldn't of gotten any of it done without you. Thanks lady!!

Thanks to everyone else for just being there. I was nervous but you all made me feel somewhat at ease.

Thanks to Alan for actually liking my work enough to make it a part of your life! That continues to amaze me.

Anyways, stay tuned for details on the next art show. I think there is another one in the works. Keep your fingers crossed.

You will have to pardon my newness at this website thing. I'm learning as I go and I'm sure it will change often.

I am a painter and not a photographer so I apologize for the poor quality regarding the photo's of my work. They were taken with a small digital camera in my living room and the result is a semi un-true representaion of the painting.

If you are a visitor and you see something you like, just fill out the contact page with your interests described and I will get back to you with pricing and postage costs. All pieces are canvas only - not framed.

The big news that I have is on June 7th, First Thursday, I will be a part of an art show for gay pride featuring all gay artists, located at City Hall. While I'm only able to hang 3 pieces (I never would have been able to pick them if it wasn't for debbie!) I am pretty excited about it and I'm using this opportunity to take this somewhere, hence the website. So please stop by on June 7th from 5pm - 7pm. If you can't make it, the art show will be going on the entire month of June. Go give your props to the gay artists in our community!!!

The rest of my art, minus a new one that's drying, is hanging at the Concordia Ale House in NE Portland. They are located on the corner of NE 33rd and NE Killingsworth. This is one of my most favorite places to go to. The people are nice, the food is great, the drinks are strong and the choices for beer are endless. So go check it out. I'll be there through the end of June.
